Design concept

Inspired by the cozy, rustic, yet highly functional European farmhouse style, The Ground Floor integrated this concept into the architectural design by creating a warm, friendly, and open kitchen studio. By combining simple steel frames with soft Sage Green cabinets, the space brings a comfortable, home-like feeling to anyone who walks in. The highlight of this design is the creative use of ordinary corrugated metal roofs, transforming a simple, everyday material into a charming architectural feature.

Space layout & Experience

The layout of the project is split cleanly into different floors to match the business needs, driven by a smart logic of proactive control and workflow management. The design maximizes kitchen capacity, ensures food safety, and makes inventory control easy, whether handling quick delivery orders or packing large wholesale crates. Specifically, the ground floor connects a cafe with a quick-service kitchen to handle online orders smoothly. The fourth floor is the main production kitchen, built completely for high-capacity baking. Eventually, the fifth floor, where the baking academy, main office, and livestreaming zones take place, is intentionally designed to attract trainees, training staff, and online customers by featuring a contemporary sage green palette paired with meticulously calculated lighting.

Details & Materials

The Ground Floor carefully selected materials to combine aesthetics with daily function. For instance, specialized stainless steel kitchens stand alongside custom wood cabinets finished in a smooth, trendy sage green. The most remarkable feature lies in how the design team reimagined ordinary corrugated metal roofing into an architectural highlight, bringing the warm, rustic feel of a European farmhouse into the space.
