MUNCHIES WORLD

A retro-style convenience store serving fast food, snacks, refreshments, etc., mainly for teens. The design style highly reflects the 90s' American fast food culture, with orange and green being two main colors.

Design concept

The layout of Munchies World is strategically engineered around "speedy behavior" to serve customers with extremely short dwell times. The space shapes a seamless, fast-service workflow: quick browsing, rapid checkout, and efficient short stays. To drive this retail logic, The Ground Floor applied high-impact orange across major surfaces to stimulate brain activity and trigger an immediate desire for energy replenishment. The remaining color palette is strictly calculated as a visual counterweight.

The commitment to aesthetics and durability in retail architecture shines through a curated selection of materials. The Ground Floor prioritized high-durability, low-maintenance elements such as powder-coated metal, polished concrete, and expansive glass panels that flood the space with natural light. The custom-tailored checkout counters and modular displays help to optimize product merchandising and stand as sharp visual anchors that seal the unique brand identity of Munchies World.
